Obituary for William Ivan Marks
William Ivan Marks spent his final hours with his family at his side and passed peacefully on June 27, 2020 at the age of 54. He will be forever missed by his loving wife, Sandra Cosentino-Marks. Cherished by his dear children, Matthew William and Julia Alessandra. William Ivan Marks will always be remembered by his parents, Clifford Russell and Barbara Ann Marks and by his brother, Bryan Douglas (Moira Kathleen). William Ivan Marks will always be remembered by his, mother-in-law Maria Cosentino, sister-in-law Linda Cosentino (Denise), by his brother-in-law John Cosentino (Christina), and by his niece and Goddaughter Rafaella Cosentino. He will be held dear in the hearts of his family, relatives, and many friends.
William Ivan Marks, born in Fredericton, New Brunswick, 1966, graduated from the University of New Brunswick with a Bachelor of Arts, BA in 1988 and received his Bachelor of Law degree, LL. B in 1991. William Ivan Marks articled in law with a law firm in Mississauga, ON and then established a successful law firm partnership – Marks and Ciraco with Joseph Ciraco
Visitations will take place at the Vescio Funeral Home Woodbridge Chapel (8101 Weston Rd. 905-850-3332) on Thursday July 2, 2020 from 5-8 p.m. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Friday July 3, 2020 at 11:30 a.m. at St. Clare of Assisi Roman Catholic Church (150 St. Frances Ave. north of Rutherford Rd.). Private family entombment to follow at Holy Cross Catholic Cemetery (on Bayview Ave., south of Hwy 7). If so desired, donations in memory of William Ivan Marks may be made to the Princess Margaret Hospital-Gastrointestinal Clinic.

The government has implemented that all attendees at funerals must always wear a mask.
Masks are required at all churches and cemeteries. Those in attendance for services are required to bring their masks to the church and cemetery or you will not be permitted to attend the service.

We can have public visitations with a maximum of 50 people in attendance per visitation room
We can have funerals taking place at the church which allows for up to 100 to 150 people to be in attendance in the Vaughan area (once maximum capacity has been reached no exceptions will be made to allow for more friends to enter)
We can have from 10 people up to 50 people if outdoors in attendance at the cemetery.
We are encouraging all friends to come to the funeral home during the visitation periods if you are comfortable and meet us at the church for the funeral Mass.
We are asking for only the most immediate family members to join us at the funeral home on the funeral day and at the cemetery only.
We encourage all family and friends to leave a message on the memory wall online.
