Obituary for Toni Alati

Toni Alati
June 10, 1970 - April 3, 2020

Toni lost his battle with the COVID 19 virus on Friday, April 3, 2020 at 7:58 am.

Toni was vibrant, passionate, devoted, loving, funny, charming, magnetic, and unforgettable. He was a true sports fan of the Philadelphia Flyers, Dallas Cowboys, Toronto FC and the Vaughan World Series Slo-Pitch Baseball League (Hornets and Orioles).

Above all, Toni was the proudest papa to the light of his life, Arianna. He was a coach to her soccer team and guided them to several championships.
Toni and Arianna were best friends. They danced together, went on food adventures and loved watching the TFC and Flyer games together. They were inseparable.

Toni was a leader and driving force behind many community initiatives - the Carrying Place Ratepayers Association, St Gabriel PTA and most recently Fr. Bressani High School. He was very proud of his community, his family, his garden and his baseball teams. He was a selfless volunteer, a tireless and passionate advocate for everything good.

Throughout his career as a CPP, with his keen knowledge, experience and extensive network, he made a positive impact with all companies he worked with, the latest being Apotex.

Everyone knew when Toni was around, his energy and voice resonating. He had a contagious smile and the most amazing dimples.

Toni had many, many friends whom he loved to entertain at his home and share glasses of Jack Daniels and Coke. He loved travelling, his most recent adventure - bobsledding in Lake Placid with the Lacroce's. He will always be known for his famous excel spreadsheets and colour coded calendars.

Toni leaves his wife Agnese, daughter Arianna, his puppy Oreo, his parents Lucia and Santino, sister Debora, sister-in-law Mary (the late Enzo), brother-in-law Tony (Ninetta), brother-in-law Paul (Cathy) and all his nieces and nephews.

Until we meet again, my Love ..........
