God called Nevenka peacefully on Wednesday August 5, 2020 at the age of 76. She is now reunited in Heaven with her loving husband, Mate. Cherished by her dear children, Helen (late Joseph Laki), Zdenka “Mary” (Angelo Aloisio) and Ana (Marco Ciasca). Proud grandmother to Matthew (Angie), Dina, John (Mishel), Daniel, Luca, Samantha & Alyssa. Adoring great grandmother to Nathan. Nevenka will always be remembered by her siblings, Zdenka, late Johnny, Tony (Shelly), Terry (Christopher) and Mike. She will be held dear in the hearts of her family, relatives, and many friends. Visitations will take place at the Vescio Funeral Home Woodbridge Chapel (8101 Weston Rd. 905-850-3332) on Friday August 7, 2020 from 2-4 & 6-9 p.m. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Saturday August 8, 2020 at 9:30 a.m. at St. David’s Roman Catholic Church (2601 Major Mackenzie Dr., east of Jane St.). Interment to follow at Assumption Catholic Cemetery (on Tomken Rd., south of Derry Rd.). If so desired, donations in memory of Nevenka may be made to the Mackenzie Health Foundation-Palliative Care Unit.
