God called Domenica peacefully on May 2, 2020 at the age of 84. She is reunited in heaven with her loving husband, Ferdinando. Cherished by her dear children, Josephine (Gaetano Caruana), Fernando Joseph (Sabrina) and Marta (Nick Gentile). Proud grandmother to Mima (John Paul Lotesto), Alessandra (Francois Bisaillon), Daniela (Michele Rumeo), Fernando Jr. Zambito (Francesca Sultana), Bianca Zambito, Philip Zambito, Joseph Gentile and by Massimo Gentile. Adoring great grandmother to Siena Lotesto, Gabriella Lotesto, Elaina Bisaillon, Mikayla Bisallon, John Paul Rumeo and Matteo Rumeo. Domenica will always be remembered by her brothers Manfredo Caro and Stefano Caro and by her sister Filippa Caro. Domenica is reunited in heaven with her daughter Giuseppina Zambito her brothers Giuseppe Caro, Fillipo Caro and Vincenzo Caro; by her grandmother Domenica Capitano; and her parents Leonardo and Marta (nee Zambito) Caro. She will be held dear in the hearts of her family, relatives, and many friends. Private family visitation will take place at the Vescio Funeral Home Woodbridge Chapel (8101 Weston Rd. 905-850-3332) on Wednesday May 6, 2020 from 5 to 9 p.m. A private service will be held in the Chapel on Thursday May 7, 2020 at 10:00 a.m. Private entombment to follow at Glendale Memorial Gardens (on Albion Rd. at Hwy 27). If so desired, donations in memory of Domenica may be made to either the Alzheimer Society of Canada or to Parkinson Canada or to any COVID-19 research.
