God called Connie (Concetta) Bastasin peacefully on Saturday September 12, 2020 at the age of 53. She will be forever missed by her loving husband, Livio. Cherished by her dear children, Christian and Milena. Reunited in Heaven with her loving father Filippo. Survived by her mother Teresa Campanella and her in laws Vigilio Bastasin (Rita). Connie will always be remembered by her siblings Lou Campanella (Connie), Greg Campanella (Dorisia), Claudia (Costa Katsandris), Lilly (Patrick Rupcic) and sister in law to Fiorella (Mario Lunardo). Proud Aunt to Matthew, Mark, Philip, Madison, Ryan, Domenic, and Julien. She will be held dear in the hearts of her family, relatives, and many friends. Visitations will take place at the Vescio Funeral Home Woodbridge Chapel (8101 Weston Rd. 905-850-3332) on Tuesday September 15, 2020 from 2-4 & 6-9 p.m. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Wednesday September 16, 2020 at 9:30 a.m. at St. Padre Pio Parish (550 Major Mackenzie Dr., west of Islington Ave.). Private entombment to follow at Queen of Heaven Catholic Cemetery (on Hwy 27, south of Hwy 7). If so desired, donations in memory of Connie may be made to the Canadian Breast Cancer Foundation.
