God called Carlo “Calogero” peacefully on Sunday August 9, 2020 at the age of 87. He is now reunited in Heaven with his 1st wife, Elena. He will be forever missed by his loving wife, Doreen. Cherished by his dear children, Angelo (Rosa), Vince (Michelle), Aldo (Lisa) and Bruno (Maria). Proud Nonno to Giancarlo (Angela), Elysa (Mark), Alesandra (Anthony), Martine (Ben), Olivia, Katerina, Aldo (Melissa), Lucas (Victoria), Elena (Aaron), Carlo (Sara) and Michela. Adoring great grandfather to Selena, Christian, Angelica, Luca, and Marco. Carlo “Calogero” will always be remembered by his sister, Maria (Renato De Marco). He will be held dear in the hearts of his family, relatives, and many friends. Visitations will take place at the Vescio Funeral Home Woodbridge Chapel (8101 Weston Rd. 905-850-3332) on Wednesday August 12, 2020 from 3-9 p.m. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Thursday August 13, 2020 at 9:30 a.m. at St. Peter’s Roman Catholic Church (100 Bainbridge Ave., at Martin Grove Rd.). As an added precaution, we the family have decided to have a private entombment service with children and grandchildren at Glendale Memorial Gardens. If so desired, donations in memory of Carlo “Calogero” may be made to the Alzheimer Society.
